Hes Got The Assets, also known as “Leggs”, is by the 1990 AQHA Res. World Champion Jr. Western Pleasure stallion Investment Asset and by APHA World and Res. World Champion Shes Got The Zip.

As a baby we knew Leggs was special. He was very quiet and easy going and would love to trot beside you as you walked him out to the pasture in the morning. We wanted to give him a chance to mature, so we waited until late in his 2 yr old year to send him to Garth to begin his show career.

His first time to be shown was the 2000 APHA World Show where he finished 4th in the 3 Yr Old Western Pleasure Challenge. Leggs went on that year to win several Western Pleasure Futurities along with some Hunter Under Saddle wins.

As a 4 yr old several new classes were added including Amateur All Around events and Western Riding. That year he was awarded the Res. World Championship in Jr. Western Riding at the APHA World Show and collected several Superior Awards in multiple events.

His first foal crop came in 2001 but was limited to only a few mares due to his show schedule in 2000. His first 2 foals, Artistic Assets and Treasured Assets have gone on to have great success in the show pen.

Artistic Assets was the 2004 APHA Res. All Around 13 & Under horse in the nation, the World Wide Paint Horse Congress All Around 13 & Under horse, and was the Indiana Paint Horse Clubs High Point 13 & Under horse. He achieved all of this as a 3 Yr Old!!

Treasured Assets was in the top 10 at the 2004 APHA World Show in Jr. Western Pleasure and the 3 Yr Old Western Pleasure Challenge. She was also the Circuit Award winner in Jr. Western Pleasure at the Dixie Nationals and won several NSBA events.

In 2005 Leggs babies won the Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kansas, and Nebraska Longe Line Futurities and the Michigan and Ohio Hunter Under Saddle Futurities. His babies are quickly making a mark in the Youth and Amateur events as well.

In 2006 Hes Got The Time was the Michigan Open and Non-Pro and Indiana Non-Pro Yearling Longe Line Champion. Assets to Envy was the Michigan Reserve Longe Line Champion and CS True Assets was the Indiana 2 yr old Hunter Under Saddle Futurity Champion.
